It is with great excitement that we enter into what is phase two of the building process. After several months of planning and working through the building and land details, the committee is now beginning to think about and contemplate the ministry challenges that currently exist, and to focus on future ministry enhancement that will enable Emmanuels to reach out to the community and bring God's love to even more people.

The current focus of the committee is to make use of the new ministry list that you, the congregation, deemed important back in March. The results have been compiled and are currently in use each week as ideas are tossed around and new ministries are planned for the future. By determining what ministries will best serve God's purpose in our community, we will move forward to determine how to best use the new space as well as making best use of our existing space following the completion of the new fellowship hall.

This is where we must join together. These ministries will enable Emmanuels to continue reaching out to each other and to the community around us in new and exciting ways. Our potential for doing God's work in this world is limitless when we open ourselves to the Spirit; and the Spirit can drive this new and exciting phase to levels that we can't even imagine right now.

Many thanks to all who attended the congregational meeting held on July 13th to make some very important decisions about the future growth of our church. At this time the capital campaign committee has been hard at work gearing up for the next phase of the capital campaign. Check back here often for latest updates and information as well as at church.
